DoSeum Now Accepting Applications for Artist In Residence Program

The DoSeum in San Antonio, TX seeks one artist for our 2022 Artist in Residence. The winning artist will receive a $3,500 stipend and $13,000 for production. Artist will work with The DoSeum Exhibit and Education staff to create an interactive installation of their work. An 1,500 sq ft gallery space will be made available or interstitial spaces within The DoSeum. Artists will be asked to submit a portfolio and application. Finalists will be selected and rewarded $500 to submit an exhibition proposal. One artist will be chosen as the Artist in Residence. No fee to enter. See website for eligibility requirements. Academy Center of the Arts Annual National Juried Photo Exhibition

The Academy Center Of The Arts in Lynchburg, VA seeks entries for a juried photography exhibition, September 2 - October 1, 2022. Over $3000 in Cash Awards. Juror: Karen Cohen. International Society Of Furniture Designers is now accepting applications for the Innovation + Design competition and exhibition, September 19 - October 27, 2022 at The Loft at Congdon Yards in High Point, North Carolina. This is a juried Home Furnishings industry sponsored competition intended for professional designers who make their own product and the next generation of serious woodworking students who are anticipating a career in the custom wood related Home Furnishings industries. Home furnishings pieces designed and made by the designer in the following categories are being accepted: Occasional Tables, Occasional Storage, Dining Room Furniture, Lighting, Seating. Selected pieces will be brought to the exhibition location by ISFD for final judging in-person, photography, and awards presentation. The Berkeley Arts Council announces a call to artists for a juried art exhibition, August 31 - October 8, 2022 at Berkeley Art Works in Martinsburg, WV. The HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship

The HMS Visiting Artists Fellowship (January 2023-December 2023) at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth Beach, FL provides an endowment of $6,000 to one selected artist per year and facilitates exhibition and mentoring opportunities. Any living artist legally residing in Florida, working in any media or at any level of professional accomplishment, is eligible. The artist should be able to complete the required duties of the fellowship as described in the prospectus. Emphasis will be placed on their ability to provide mentorship opportunities for Palm Beach State College students. The selection committee is looking to provide students with direct, on-site professional experience and engagement and applicants with active studio and professional practices are preferred.
